Gangsters Earn Win with Late Rally
The Chicago Gangsters defeated the Carolina Reapers, 7-6, at Reedy River Stadium. Chicago was led by 24-year old shortstop Jason Bear, who went 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. The loss makes Carolina 61-84.

Bear had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a first pitch slider from B.J. Rudolph, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Gangsters a 7-6 lead. It was the 22nd home run of the year for Bear.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Bear.
