Cincinnati used a well-timed hit by Andrew Baltzley to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Royals ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Huggins said.
