D'Alberto Now 8-7 Following 7-2 Win
|
Halifax pitcher Adam D'Alberto did his part in helping his team defeat the Indianapolis Eagles, 7-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Josh Harkey earned the save for Halifax, his 9th. The Heathens have an impressive 90-55 record.
It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working D'Alberto, who tallied 11 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing just 2 hits. D'Alberto, who finished 2nd in the AC in ERA with 2.83 last year, goes to 8-7 on the year with 144 strikeouts.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Halifax skipper David Morris.
