Invaders Sneak Past Whistlers, 4-3

Howard Terminal was host to some action-packed drama.
The Oakland Invaders racked up a win at Howard Terminal, bumping off the Boston Whistlers, 4-3, in 10 innings. Evan Pullman, who started for Oakland, pitched effectively for his team. Oakland is now 86-58, while Boston is 72-72.
The Invaders got a clutch hit from first baseman Carlos Rodriguez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Invaders.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Pullman.
