Had Michael Nava not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Nava hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Fire.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Nava.
