Eagles Get Clonked by Dragons, 6-4
Behind a fine performance from Jason Coppa, the Dallas Dragons knocked off the Indianapolis Eagles, 6-4. Coppa was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs for the Dragons. The Dragons now have a record of 67-77.

The Eagles had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Dragons going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 33-year old first baseman Cole Calkins came to the plate. Calkins hit a 2-run home run on a 0-2 fastball from Indianapolis hurler Tyler Doss. It was Calkins's 18th home run of the year.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Calkins told the Dallas Today.
