Cincinnati left fielder Danny Bryson was a significant contributor in his team's 8-5 triumph over the Dallas Dragons. He went 3 for 4 with 3 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Royals. Cincinnati reliever Juan Loera picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Chris Casady was tagged with the loss. Pete Mead, credited with the save, is now 6 for 8 in save opportunities.

In the top of the eighth, Bryson put his team in front with his 20th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came against Chris Casady, made it 6-4, Cincinnati.

"Good, blue-collar kind of win," said Royals manager Brad McBride.

The Royals improved their record to 79-65 with the win over Dallas.
