Giants Get Extra-Inning, 11-10 Win
Richard Ulmer did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Vancouver Mounties from being beaten, 11-10, to the Detroit Giants at Ballpark of Detroit. Ulmer was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The first-place Giants, at 81-63, now lead their division by 9½ games.

The Giants got a clutch hit from third baseman Ryan Forsythe. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Giants.
