Dobyns Leads San Francisco to 3-1 Win
San Francisco and New York played a hard-fought contest.

The San Francisco Fire rode a solid performance from 26-year-old starting pitcher James Dobyns to a win, beating the New York Nightmare, 3-1, at Nightmare Stadium. Scott Hargraves earned the save for San Francisco, his 5th.

Dobyns confounded New York hitters. Over 8 innings, he allowed no runs on 2 hits.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Dobyns.

The Fire are now 63-81.
