Big Day for Reiss in 10-5 Gangsters Win
Spirited fans greeted the Boston Whistlers for their clash with the Chicago Gangsters.

Chicago first baseman Jason Reiss had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Boston Whistlers, 10-5. The winning pitcher was Sam Palacios. His record now stands at 9-6. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 11 hits for the Gangsters.

With Chicago leading 6-4 in the top of the fifth, Reiss hit a sinker from Fernando Garcia for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Gangsters ahead, 9-4.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Reiss.

Chicago is now 56-87, Boston 78-65.
