Late Rally Earns Hollywood 5-3 Win
Hollywood parlayed a decent outing from starter Oscar Malave into a solid win over the San Diego Fleet. The final score was 5-3. Hollywood reliever Nate Holyfield snagged the win, upping his record to 2-2. Devin Wickliffe shouldered the loss. Pat Eisen notched his 27th save of the season.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Glen Helms came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing San Diego pitcher Devin Wickliffe, he hit a first pitch slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Hollywood on top, 4-3.

"We did a lot of things right," said Helms.

The Stars win now puts them at 75-67.
