Berg Hits Two Homers in 7-4 Win for Sandusky
The Sandusky Seagulls defeated the Oakland Invaders, 7-4. Doing his part was designated hitter Josh Berg, who went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Sandusky reliever Andy Hannah was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Alfredo Tiscareno took the loss. The last-place Seagulls are now 64-78, the Invaders 95-47.

Berg had a timely hit for Sandusky in the bottom of the sixth. With Oakland trailing 4-2, he turned a full count fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Sandusky.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Berg. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
