Drooping Mounties Lose 8th Straight
The San Francisco Fire faced a tough opponent in Vancouver pitcher Greg Sandlin, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Mounties Field by a final score of 5-3. Sandlin went 9 innings and allowed 5 runs. San Francisco pitcher Jerry Eckhardt earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Greg Sandlin suffered the loss.
