Whistlers Win Nail-Biter
The Boston Whistlers wiggled past the Syracuse Scorpions, 7-6, at Whislters Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher John Way. With the win, Boston pushed its record to 78-63.

Boston won the game in the bottom of the 13th inning. With two outs and Elijah Miller on the mound for Syracuse, right fielder Mike Pardo hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Whistlers fans to their feet.

"The house was rockin'," said Pardo.
