Indianapolis Rallies for 6-4 Victory
The Indianapolis Eagles had to overcome a big game from Toronto right fielder Jaylen Taylor to leave Trash Panda Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-4. Taylor went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. The win went to Jonathan Gonzales in relief, making him now 1-2. Allen Anderson took the loss for Toronto. The loss makes Toronto 63-78.

Indianapolis used a timely hit from Adam McCumiskey to get the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Eagles ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

In comments to the Indianapolis Gazette, McCumiskey admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
