Brewer Shines in 13-4 Halifax Win
The Halifax Heathens beat the Maine Pines, 13-4, at Estadio Azteca. Andy Brewer, who is tied for 3rd in the AC in triples with 3, starred for Halifax. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Adam D'Alberto picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 5-2. The last-place Pines dropped to 30-27.

Second Baseman Chance Smith made an impact for Halifax, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Matt Graham in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Smith went 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
