Reapers Capture Close Win
The Carolina Reapers took Jeremy Schroeter's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Reedy River Stadium. The final score had Carolina getting past the Captains, 4-3, in 12 innings. Schroeter over 7 innings allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 5. Carolina reliever Roy Walk picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Justin Berardi was saddled with the loss. Carolina bumps their record to 59-81 with the win.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when catcher Adam Pelfrey hit a sacrifice fly. The Reapers went on to win.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Tampa Bay manager Jalen Armour.
