The Vancouver Caribou downed the Philadelphia Marauders, 6-4, in 10 innings. John Hunt led the way, going 4-for-4 for Vancouver. Reliever Jeff Cox picked up the win. His record improves to 9-8. Vince Mellon, who is tied for 2nd in the AC in saves with 32, took the loss. The save went to Sean Ryan, his 2nd this season.

Hunt had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-0 fastball from Vince Mellon, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Caribou a 5-4 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Hunt.

Vancouver manager Pete Clark commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."

The Caribou saw their record improve to 70-70.
