Pines Get Clutch Win Versus Austin
Maine turned a good effort from starter Matt Graham into a win over the Austin Desperados at Dell Diamond. The final score was 3-2. Chris Hames, credited with the save, is now 10 for 12 in save opportunities. The loss makes Austin 79-60.

Maine needed the clutch hitting of Eric Hicks to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pines on top, 3-2. For the game, Hicks had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
