The Daytona Beach Sea Turtles beat the Chicago Gangsters, 4-3, at Leatherback Park. Daytona Beach left fielder Clark Owens had an outstanding performance. He went 1 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. David Rogers collected save number 26. The third-place Sea Turtles improved to 61-77.
