McMurtry Now 13-9 After Subduing Mounties
The Indianapolis Eagles topped the Vancouver Mounties, 2-0, in National Conference action at Eagles Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Indianapolis pitcher Shawn McMurtry. Picking up the save was Cameron Hutchinson. He's now 5 for 6 in save chances. With the win, the Eagles sit at 69-69.

McMurtry, who dominated for Indianapolis, earned the victory to move to 13-9. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 3. Vancouver batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"It's a mindset," said McMurtry. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
