It was pandemonium at Ballpark of Detroit after an exciting walk-off win.

The Detroit Giants defeated the San Diego Fleet, 2-1, in American Conference action at Ballpark of Detroit. Detroit pitcher Efrain Gutierrez had a standout performance. The winner was Detroit reliever Lee Maher, now 4-8. The loser was Lorenzo Landin.

The Giants got a clutch hit from third baseman Ramon Dozal. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Giants.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Gutierrez said in his postgame press conference.

The Giants go to 51-87 with the win.
