The Toronto Trash Pandas and Austin Desperados provided some drama for the home crowd.

Getting an impressive start from Sam Campos, Austin beat Toronto by the score of 2-1. Justin Buchanan snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 3 innings. He's now 1-1 on the season. Earning his 27th save of the year was Bob Baucke.

Austin shortstop Jared Priest helped the Desperados go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Priest hit a run-scoring single off Toronto pitcher Travis Anderson.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Priest. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."

Austin is in third place in the American Conference South Division with a record of 66-72.
