Sea Dogs Take Down Scorpions, 13-12
Charleston second baseman Dusty Anderson helped his team beat the Syracuse Scorpions, 13-12. Anderson, who is tied for 9th in the NC in stolen bases with 27, went 3 for 4 for the Sea Dogs. Charleston reliever Mario Barillas picked up the win, upping his record to 8-4. Mike Kelley was saddled with the loss. Charleston is now 91-47, 21 games up in the National Conference South Division.

Charleston used the hitting of George Kinder to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Sea Dogs on top, 13-12. For the game, Kinder had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Anderson.
