The Dallas Dragons converted a terrific effort from starter Matthew Rowlands into a win over the Cincinnati Royals at The Castle. The Dragons won the game by a final score of 4-1. The winning pitcher was Rowlands, now 1-0. He tossed 5.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 2. Picking up his 20th save was fan favorite Mike Braasch.

Dallas used the hitting of Kevin Morrow to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dragons on top, 4-1. For the game, Morrow had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Dallas manager Edgar Puente called it "a darn good win."
