The Austin Desperados spoiled a good performance by Indianapolis third baseman Victor Mendez, bumping off Indianapolis, 9-7, at Dell Diamond. Mendez went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Austin has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
