Dallas beat Maine at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to center fielder Dave Pimenta. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Today's win puts Dallas at 56-81, while Maine falls to 74-63.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jose Casas in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off three-time All-Star Vinny Narvaez to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Pimenta said.
