Stars Absorb 4-0 Loss at Fountain Park
The Fountain Hills 23ers topped the Hollywood Stars, 4-0, in American Conference action at Fountain Park. The standout performance belonged to Fountain Hills pitcher and Santiago, Dominican Republic, native Miguel Soto. Salvatore Barajas earned the save for Fountain Hills, his 1st of the year. The win puts Fountain Hills at 49-88.

Isaiah Mill had a big run-scoring double for the 23ers in the bottom of the third inning. With Fountain Hills leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Adam Arent and swatted a double to center. It was his 50th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the 23ers ahead, 2-0.

Mill attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
