In a low-scoring contest between the Indianapolis Eagles and the Phoenix Gladiators, Rodney Caporn, who finished 3rd in the AC in strikeouts with 285 in 2019, proved to be the difference. The Indianapolis left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Eagles win. Mike Canales, now 6-3, was credited with the win in 4 innings of relief.
