San Francisco Gets 5-0 Road Win
|
2019 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Dallas Dragons.
San Francisco Fire starter Erik Ashley hurled his team past the Dallas Dragons, 5-0. The winning pitcher was Ashley, now 8-6. He tossed 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 5.
Jason Ramsey hit a run-scoring double off David Fry in the top of the fifth, which put the Fire in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Ramsey had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ashley told the San Francisco Daily News.
The triumph puts San Francisco at 75-60 for the season.
