Royals 4-2 Winners Over Dallas
|
Cincinnati pitcher Miguel Leon did his part in helping his team defeat the Dallas Dragons, 4-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The Dragons, now 64-71, have lost 5 straight.
Jaden York had a big 2-run home run for the Royals in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cincinnati leading 1-0 and a runner on 3rd, he got a changeup from Jonathan Allen, who is tied for 7th in the AC in innings pitched with 167.1, and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 11th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Royals ahead, 3-0.
Afterward, Dallas manager Edgar Puente said: "We've hit a rough patch."
