Halifax picked up a win at Estadio Azteca, bumping off the Toronto Trash Pandas, 6-2. Pitcher Jonathan Allen was a major reason the Heathens emerged victorious. Halifax improves to 86-49 with the win. They lead their division by 13½ games.

In the bottom of the third, Halifax catcher Bruce Richards had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Richards stroked a 2-run single to right-center. It made the score 4-1, Halifax. For the game, he was 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Richards. "And not try to do too much."
