The Toronto Trash Pandas defeated the Dallas Dragons by the score of 9-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Jaylen Taylor. Taylor went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Trash Pandas on the day. Tom Mott wrapped it up, recording his 18th save. With the win, Toronto goes to 65-69, while the Dragons fall to 46-88.

Chris Marra had a big 2-run home run for the Trash Pandas in the bottom of the second inning. With Toronto leading 2-1 and a runner on 3rd, he sized up a cutter from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Kyle Connell and punished it. The result was his 18th home run of the season, which put the Trash Pandas on top, 4-1.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Taylor.
