Big Day for Seago as Nightmare Down Mounties, 12-8
|
The New York Nightmare and Vancouver Mounties lit up the scoreboard.
In a high-scoring game between New York and Vancouver, third baseman Nick Seago was a difference-maker. The 25-year-old helped New York grab the 12-8 win. He went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The win was credited to John Dollar in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Kyle Rodriguez took the loss.
With two out in the top of the seventh, Ricardo Pascual had a game-changing hit. The Nightmare catcher slammed a run-scoring single off Nate Miller, making the score 8-6, New York.
"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Seago told the New York Times.
The New York winning streak has reached 3 games.
