Aguilar Hits 2 home runs in Mounties Win
Behind a solid performance from first baseman Mel Aguilar, the Vancouver Mounties defeated the Syracuse Scorpions, 10-4. Aguilar belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Mounties. Jonathan Gonzales was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. Jay Sikora finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Tim Hummel, who is tied for 10th in the NC in extra base hits with 57, aided the Vancouver cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 5 with a double, while scoring 2 runs.
