Dragons Suffer 6-1 Road Loss
|
Trash Panda Field was the site for National Conference action featuring the Dallas Dragons and Toronto Trash Pandas.
The Toronto Trash Pandas racked up a win at Trash Panda Field, bumping off the Dallas Dragons, 6-1. Victor Figueroa, who started for Toronto, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Figueroa. He threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Adrian Huffine.
Heath Graves was 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI for Toronto. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Adrian Huffine. It was his 123rd hit of the season.
"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Figueroa.
The Dragons, now 57-75, have lost 4 in a row.
