Toronto Trash Pandas right-hander Josh Monroe pitched a good game against the Phoenix Gladiators at Trash Panda Field, leading his team to victory, 6-4. Evan Sippel was credited with the save for Toronto, his 14th of the season. The victory gives Toronto a record of 76-56.

Jaylen Taylor had a big 2-run double for the Trash Pandas in the bottom of the first inning. With Toronto trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Derrick Espinosa and swatted a double to left. It was his 39th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Trash Pandas ahead, 2-1.

"Winning never gets dull," said Taylor.
