Eagles 6-5 Victors Over Austin
|
Eagles right fielder Tony Bradshaw put his stamp on his team's 6-5 win over the Austin Desperados. Bradshaw was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Indianapolis in the contest. Nick Horrocks earned the save for Indianapolis, his 2nd of the year. With the win, Indianapolis pushed its record to 35-21.
Had T.J. Walker not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Walker hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Eagles.
"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Bradshaw.
