Tim Scott was a major factor in the 10-9 Fountain Hills win over New York. The 23ers right fielder went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Reliever Jonathan Reeher picked up the win. His record improves to 4-4. Jeff Groves, who is tied for 5th in the AC in saves with 29, took the loss. The third-place 23ers lifted their record to 65-66.

Dan Canady was the walk-off hero for Fountain Hills. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the 23ers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Canady said.
