Dominant Performance by Harris in Cincinnati Win
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Cincinnati Royals and Halifax Heathens.
Cincinnati used a superb performance from starting pitcher Chris Harris to down the Halifax Heathens, 1-0. Guadalupe Lorenzo was credited with the save for Cincinnati, his 9th of the season.
In his 116-pitch effort, Harris allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7.2 innings. He walked 3 and struck out 7.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Harris.
The Royals raised their record to 21-35.
