Red-Hot Royals Win Again
The Cincinnati Royals picked up a win at The Castle, downing the Toronto Trash Pandas, 2-0. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Stuart Maness, who played a pivotal role in the win. Earning his 46th save for Cincinnati was Wayne Harless. With the win, Cincinnati goes to 80-49, while the Trash Pandas fall to 67-62.

The Royals had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 2-0, Cincinnati, with one out. Toronto, with a runner on 2nd, was mounting a threat. Jon Kenyon dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 cutter, he popped out.
