Halifax right fielder Nick Pratt was sensational. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Hollywood beat the Heathens, 7-6. The win was credited to Kevin Delaney in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Gordie Clifford took the loss. Hollywood currently is in last place in the National Conference West Division at 57-72.

Hollywood took a 6-5 lead on Aharon Kroyan's 25th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Kroyan hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Halifax pitcher Gordie Clifford visibly frustrated.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Halifax manager David Morris. "But we decided not to take it."
