Nightmare Lose Late to Marauders
|
The bat of Jim Borich helped the Philadelphia Marauders top the New York Nightmare, 8-4. Borich went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Philadelphia. The save went to Vince Mellon, his 30th this season. After today's action, Philadelphia sits at 74-55; New York slips to 48-81.
In the top of the eighth, Borich put his team in front with his 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Chris Wyzard, made it 7-4, Philadelphia.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Borich.
