Getting a good performance from designated hitter Danny Gaskins, the Vail Tigercats defeated the Vermont Milkmen, 7-5. Gaskins went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Tigercats. Rich Sargent picked up the save, his 8th. The first-place Tigercats now sit at 34-19.
