Sonoma Absorbs 4-1 Loss to Cornwall
|
Cornwall picked up a win at Ballpark of North Richland Hills, bumping off the Sonoma Scorpions, 4-1. Pitcher John Mills was a major reason the Royals emerged victorious. Mills picked up the win for Cornwall, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 6-2. The save went to Dan Kleinman, his 2nd this season.
Greg Martel had a direct impact on the outcome. Martel contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Cornwall up, 1-0.
