Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Detroit Giants and Hollywood Stars.

Brandon Fry knocked in 4 runs to help the Detroit Giants win, 8-5, over the Hollywood Stars. The second-place Giants hiked their record to 32-23.

With Detroit leading 4-3 in the top of the eighth, Fry batted against Hollywood pitcher Adam Arent. Fry hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Giants on top, 8-3.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Fry said. "We did a good job of that today."
