New York Nightmare starter Pat Hovhannisian found his groove in his team's 3-1 win over the Vancouver Caribou. New York is now 26-29. Vancouver is 22-33.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Nightmare had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when third baseman Nick Seago hit a 2-run single. The single came off Juan Millan and made the score 3-1, Nightmare. Seago was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Hovhannisian told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
