Captains Get Clutch Win Versus Syracuse
The Tampa Bay Captains and Syracuse Scorpions played an entertaining game for Ahoy Park patrons.

Tampa Bay Captains starter Heath Eberly turned in a top-notch performance against the Syracuse Scorpions at Ahoy Park. The result was a win for the Captains, 3-2. The win gives the Captains a record of 40-89.

The decisive blow was delivered by Sam Bingle in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Jared Hall to win the game for Tampa Bay. The home crowd went nuts.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Eberly.
