The Vail Tigercats beat the Augusta Capitols, 7-4, at The Capitol Dome. Danny Gaskins starred for Vail. He was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 times. Tyler Doss got the save, the 10th for him this season. The win hiked the Vail record to 28-23.

Vail used a timely hit from Curtis Rittenberry to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Tigercats ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
