Hialeah Drops Another One, 9-6
The 2025 season is going from bad to worse for Hialeah.

Cory Donaghy made an impact in the 9-6 Sonoma win over Hialeah. Donaghy, who is tied for 2nd in the W-AA in bases on balls with 29, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Chris Gabbitas snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Chris Weekley suffered the loss. Jason Burget finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Bryan Sheary went 1-4 for Sonoma. The 28-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Chris Weekley. It was his 9th RBI of the season.

"Things will change for us," said Hialeah manager John Costa. "When things change, we'll get clicking."

Hialeah, at 14-38, has lost 19 straight.
