Tigercats Earn Win with Late Rally
The Cincinnati Bombardiers got a superb performance from pitcher Justin Thompson, but the Vail Tigercats still won the game, 4-3. Thompson threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Kyle Schroeder collected his 12th save. With the win, the Tigercats have a record of 26-22.

Troy Hermann went 2 for 4 with 2 singles for Vail. The 22-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single off Justin Thompson. It was his 42nd hit of the season.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Hermann told the Vail Daily.
