5 Straight Wins for Tigercats
London center fielder Thomas Hardy was sensational. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Vail beat the Tigers, 7-4. Vail reliever Brent Holt snagged the win, upping his record to 2-0. Marco Sanchez shouldered the loss. Rich Sargent earned the save for Vail, his 6th of the year.

Vail catcher Alex Mejia helped the Tigercats go up, 5-3, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Mejia hit a 2-run single off London pitcher Marco Sanchez.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Mejia.

Vail raised its record to 30-18 with the win.
