The Chicago Gangsters downed the Carolina Reapers, 5-2, at Reedy River Stadium. The Gangsters were led by Billy Manuele. Manuele went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Earning his 8th save of the year was Keith Kramer. With the win, the Gangsters are 17-38.

In the top of the first, Manuele had a 2-run home run for Chicago. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Gangsters on top, 2-0.
