Nick Douglass, who is tied for 8th in the NC with a 10.0 K/9 rate, was terrific for the Vancouver Mounties in his team's 8-1 triumph over the New York Nightmare. His performance earned Douglass rave reviews. In 6.2 innings, Douglass surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The win puts the Mounties at 20-34, while the Nightmare drop to 22-32.

T.J. Arnold contributed to the Vancouver win with a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.

"I thought we played a nice game," Arnold told the Vancouver Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
